Serving with Character, Connection, & Commitment
Message From The Chief
Welcome to the Monument
Fire District
Andy Kovacs
Fire Chief
I would like to thank our community for supporting ballot measure 6A/6B! By completing this important step, we can now legally dissolve the Donald Wescott Fire Protection District and finalize the merger between the two agencies.
With the unification of the Tri-Lakes Monument and Donald Wescott FPDs, residents should experience an increase in the level of service with an improved economy of scale and a reduction in the duplication of effort.
2024 will be an exciting year as we continue to invest in capital improvements (fleet and facilities), our employees, and our community through agency accreditation.
As you navigate through our website, we hope it reflects our organizational values of:
Character | Connection | Commitment
Our firefighters are always ready – day or night – dedicated to serving the citizens of our communities and beyond with character, connection, and a commitment to excellence.
Whether a medical aid, fire, natural disaster, or other calls for service, our firefighters come highly trained and knowledgeable to handle your emergency.
As Fire Chief, I could not be more proud of our men and women who have heeded the call to serve. Their selfless commitment is modeled in their daily actions.
I would ask that you visit our home page and take advantage of our Community Connect program. Through a secure portal, you can provide vital information (e.g., medications, pets, etc.) to our firefighters and paramedics as they respond to your emergency.
Thank you for visiting. Please let us know how we can serve you better.
